Verwendung hat zur Voraussetzung, dass das Aufstellen und das Zusammenklappen ohne weiteres voigenommen werden können, wie dies bei den bekannten Feldstühlen der Fall ist, deren Einrichtung für Säuglingsbetten aber nicht ohne weiteres anwendbar ist, weil die Liegefläche von Spannungen frei sein muss, damit sie sich dem Körper vollkommen anschmiegen kann.
Die bekannten Kinderbetten sind alb diesem Grunde mit besonderen Verstrebungen für das zusammenklappbare Gestell ausgestattet worden, welche die Liegefläche wohl entlasten, die Verwendbarkeit des Bettes für den angeführten Zweck aber ausschliessen, weil das Einsetzen der Verstrebung beim Aufstellen und das Ausheben vor dem Zusammenklappen zu umständlich ist, als dass es mit einer Hand ausgeführt werden könnte. Im Sinne der vorliegenden Erfindung werden besondere Verstrebungen dadurch entbehrlich gemacht, dass die gegenseitige Abstützung der Beine des Gestelles durch die Stirnwände der die Gestalt eines Troges aufweisenden Hängematte erfolgt.
Infolge dieser Ausgestaltung kann das Bett ohne weiteres aufgestellt und zusammengeklappt werden und es bietet gleichzeitig noch den Vorteil, dass die bei Verwendung von Streben aus
