Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Stuhl mit zusammenfaltbarer Sitzfläche und Rückenlehne, an dessen Seitenteilen Scherenstreben angelenkt sind. Gemäss der Erfindung sind die Seitenteile mit den oberen Enden der Scherenstreben mittels kurzer, sowohl an den Seitenteilen als auch an den Streben drehbar angeordneter Arme verbunden, so dass das durch das Zusammenfalten der Sitzfläche bewirkte
Zusammenschieben der Seitenteile leicht erfolgt. Die Rückenlehne des Stuhles wird von Stützen getragen, die um eine die Armlehne durchsetzende Achse drehbar sind und beim Zusammenfalten des Stuhles von Hand in die Verlängerung der Armlehnen umgelegt werden können.
In der Zeichnung ist der Erfindungsgegenstand in Fig. 1 in Vorderansicht, in Fig. 2 in Draufsicht ohne Sitzfläche und in Fig. 3 in Seitenansicht dargestellt, während Fig. 4 den Faltstuhl zusammengefaltet zeigt.
Die beiden Seitenteile LI, L2 bestehen je aus einem Holzrahmen, der durch vertikale Sprossen s versteift ist. Die zwei äussersten vertikalen Stäbe des Rahmens fi, f2 sind stärker dimensioniert, überragen die unterste Querleiste u und bilden die Beine des Faltstuhles. Zuoberst ist der Rahmen durch ein Brettchen a abgeschlossen, das als Armlehne dient.
Der Sitz S besteht aus einem starken Gewebe, das zwischen zwei entsprechend dimensionierten Tragbalken b1, b@ ausgespannt ist. Diese letzteren sind an ihren beiden Enden mit je zwei Streben c,. und e ;, bzw. f und p/, starr verbunden, die ihrerseits wieder am unteren Ende der beiden Vertikalstäbe des gegenüberliegenden Seitenteiles L2 um eine horizontale Achse drehbar befestigt sind. Durch diese Anordnung wird ausser der erwähnten Wirkung, dass das durch das Zusammenfalten der Sitzfläche bewirkte Zusammenschieben der Seitenteile leicht erfolgt, auch erreicht, dass der Faltstuhl durch das Auflagern der Tragbalken auf diesen vier Dreharmen eine grosse Festigkeit besitzt.
Die Rückenlehne R besteht aus zwei Stäben gl, , die um eine horizontale, die Armbrettchen a durchsetzende Achse drehbar sind. Diese beiden Stäbe g1, g2 sind durch ein festes Gewebe miteinander verbunden. Die Rückenlehne schmiegt sich infolge der drehbaren Anordnung und der Nachgiebigkeit und Weichheit des Gewebes, an den Rücken des Sitzenden an und bildet so eine ausserordentlich bequeme Lehne.
Das Zusammenfalten des Stuhles geschieht durch Horizontallegen der Rückenlehne und durch Hochziehen der beiden Tragbalken bl > b2, wodnrrh der in Fig. 4 gezeichnete Zustand erreicht wird.
PATENT-ANSPRÜCHE :
1. Stuhl mit zusammenfaltbarer Sitzfläche, an dessen Seitenteilen Scherenstreben angelenkt sind, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass die Seitenteile (Li, LJ mit den oberen Enden der Scherenstreben (e" e,c/e;t) mittels kurzer, sowohl an den Seitenteilen als auch an den Streben drehbar angeordneter Arme (dv1, dv2) verbunden sind.
