Die gebräuchlichen Handsägen haben den Nachteil, dass der zum Spannen der Rahmenleisten dienende Spanndraht im Falle des Reissens durch einen neuen Draht ersetzt werden muss. Bei Anwendung der Erfindung wird der gerissene Draht nicht durch einen neuen ersetzt, sondern es wird einfach Draht von einem Vorrat nachgezogen.
In der Zeichnung ist die Spannvorrichtung der Handsäge dargestellt, u. zw. ist Fig. 1 eine Seitenansicht derselben und Fig. 2 ein Schnitt durch die eine Rahmenleiste.
An der einen Rahmenleiste al ist eine Keilfläche b befestigt. Diese Keilfläche wird von einem aus Blech oder Holz hergestellten Kästchen c umgeben, in dessen Innerem ein keilförmiger Körper cl auf-und abbewegbar angeordnet ist.
