   Der Zweck der vorliegenden Erfindung ist die Herstellung von elektrodynamischen Wattmetern mit proportionalen Skalen, so dass gleichen Änderungen der zu messenden Leistungen auch gleiche Ausschlagsänderungen entsprechen. Bei den bisher bekannten Wattmetern wurde der gleiche Zweck dadurch zu erreichen versucht, dass man die axiale Länge der festen Spule dem Durchmesser bzw. der langen Seite der beweglichen Spule gegenüber kurz zu machen sich bestrebte, was aber nur durch Einbusse von wirkungsgünstigem   Wicklungsraum   zu erreichen ist. Gemäss vorliegender Erfindung wurde eine zweckmässige Spulendimensionierung durch Versuche gefunden, wobei die axiale Länge der festen Spule gleich der längsten Seite der beweglichen Spule gemacht werden kann, ohne dass der Verlauf der proportionalen Skala gestört wird.

   Durch diese vorteilhafte Ausführung wird viel nutzbringender Wicklungsraum gewonnen, so dass günstige Drehmomente schon mit niederen Amperewindungen erreicht werden.
