  Verfahren zur Herstellung von Druckplatten für Farbendruck, insbesondere für
Vorsatzpapiere. 



   Es ist bereits bekannt, Druckplatten für Farbendruck unter Verwendung einer gallertartigen Masse als Zeichenfläche für die zu übertragenden Muster herzustellen. Von diesem Verfahren unter-

 dass das Muster auf die geebnete Fläche einer aus mit Wasser zubereitetem Carrageenmoos bestehenden gallertartigen Masse aufgetragen und dann in bekannter Weise direkt auf die Zinkplatte übertragen wird, die nach der üblichen Ätzung und Ausarbeitung zur Reproduktion geeignet ist. Anstatt Carrageenmoos könnte eine aus einem anderen Perlmoos hergestellte gallertartige Masse verwendet werden. 



   Bei dem unter Schutz gestellten Verfahren bedarf es zwecks Verdünnung der Umdruckfarbe mit Terpentin keines Zusatzes von Feuchtigkeit, weil das mit Wasser zubereitete Carrageenmoos ohnehin feucht ist. An jenen Stellen, auf denen zuviel Farbe aufliegt, wird, nach Verdünnung der letzteren bloss mit Terpentin, der   Farbenüberschuss   und gleichzeitig mit diesem auch der gallertartige   Uutergrund   mittels des zum Entwurf des Musters dienenden Stiftes od. dgl. verschoben, wodurch ein Ausgleich in der Nuance erfolgt. Die Feinheiten, d. h. die Weichheit der Zeichnung, die Stellen, auf die weniger Farben aufgetragen wurde und welche daher matter erscheinen, gehen beim Reproduzieren nicht verloren, sondern werden ganz genau sichtbar.

   Es können mehrere Platten mit verschiedenen Farben übereinander gedruckt werden.

In those places where there is too much paint, after diluting the latter with turpentine only, the excess paint and, at the same time, the gelatinous underground surface is shifted by means of the pen or the like used to design the pattern, thereby compensating for the nuance he follows. The subtleties, i.e. H. the softness of the drawing, the areas to which less color has been applied and which therefore appear more matt, are not lost when reproduced, but are clearly visible.

   Several plates with different colors can be printed on top of each other.
