  Sub-floor for board floors.

For the production of concrete, which up to now has been applied to the ceiling construction to replace the blind floor, only materials have been used that harden quickly and then do not allow the nails to be driven in. Taking this into account, when attaching board floors to concrete layers serving as sub-floors, the procedure was to insert nails into the underside of the board.

This work process naturally has the disadvantage that the boards must be laid immediately after the concrete material has been applied because the rapid hardening of the

the concrete mass is still soft. In order to simplify the work or to make the laying of the boards independent of the time at which the concrete cast is applied, a concrete cast is used in accordance with the present innovation. which allows the nails to be driven in even after cooling and hardening, so that the laying work can be carried out in exactly the same way as on a wooden blind floor. A concrete casting which is particularly advantageous for the intended purpose is obtained by constricting soft pitch formed from petroleum residues with machine planing chips.

This material is applied in the form of a flat seam to the ceiling structure in question and, after cooling, as a result of the addition of wood shavings, forms a perfectly nailable layer, which replaces the common false floor and which completely holds the nails that are driven into the boards in the usual way. Compared to the usual blind floors, the use of the nailable concrete layer has the advantage that it is completely dust-proof and the sound and
