Description
<Desc/Clms Page number 1>

Spring shoe for spring hammers.
In the previously known spring hammers, the spring shoe was attached to the spring mechanism only by means of a bolt passed through these parts. This design has the disadvantage that the spring mechanism weighs around the bolt during operation, as a result of which the bolt and the spring mechanism wear out prematurely. Attempts have already been made to counteract this inconvenience by driving wedges between the spring leaves, but this means of providing information is not advantageous because the wedges loosen after a short time. According to the invention, this drawback is remedied in that pressure screws are arranged on the shoe, which act on the spring mechanism.
EMI1.1
The spring mechanism 1 consists of several leaf springs which extend into the cavity of a shoe 2.
A bolt 3 is passed through the spring mechanism and the shoe for connection. In the upper wall of the shoe threads are cut into which pressure screws 4, 5 are screwed. By tightening these screws, pressure is exerted on the spring mechanism, which prevents it from weighing around the bolt.
