For ejecting the molds device for rotating table presses for the production of candy canes.
The common rotary table presses for the production of candy canes provide a table which can be rotated around a vertical, fixed column and in which four molds are installed. Each press mold consists of a prismatic frame embedded in the table, which is divided into individual compartments by continuous walls. In these press rams can be moved up and down, which are connected to one another by a footplate. The stamps are secured in the respective elevated position by suitable means. The table rotates jerkily in such a way that the table turns 900 each time and then stands still for a short time. In this way, each shape remains in four specific positions one after the other.
In the first position, with the ram in the lower position, the mold is filled with sugar mass from a stationary container above the table. In the second position, the latter is pressed into candy canes between a bar that tightly overlaps the mold and the press rams in that the press rams on the footplate are raised by a lifting body, which then immediately lowers again.
In the third position, the pressed candy canes are ejected onto the surface of the table by further lifting the ram by means of an ejector device and then, while the ejected candy canes are pushed onto a depositing table, the ejector is returned to its starting position. Finally, in the fourth position, the rams are pulled back into the deep hunt, whereupon the processes are repeated in the manner described.
The ejector device now consists of a ram (ejector ram) which is guided in a housing and moves up and down, which is lifted inside the housing by a rotating thumb by means of a one-armed rocking lever. The decline of the ejector to its starting position after the candy canes had been ejected was previously caused by its own weight and that of the rocker arm. However, it has been shown that the ejector ram easily stops in the elevated position due to insufficient lubrication or contamination, in which case the next form to be ejected hits it during the following table rotation, which leads to breaks in the table press.
The present invention aims to eliminate the specified inconveniences by automatically returning the punch to the lower position in a simple manner so that significant changes to the table press are not required. In particular, it had to be taken into account that the narrow stamp housing, the stamp itself, the rocking lever, the continuous thumb shaft and the drive of the stamp within the stamp housing must be retained, as well as that the stamp's decline must take place quickly.
According to the invention, these conditions are met in that the rocker arm is provided with an auxiliary attack for an auxiliary thumb offset in relation to the attack for the lifting thumb, which by meeting the auxiliary attack causes the inevitable downward movement of the lever and the ejector piston coupled to it.
In particular, it is useful to fork the lever action for the lifting thumb and the auxiliary thumb in a width corresponding to the fork opening so on the hub of the
