Electric counting device for piece goods and bulk goods.
The subject of the present invention is an electrical counting and control device for piece goods and bulk goods, which essentially consists of two counters working in opposite directions and an electromagnetic off! There is an eyelet, or device, which each time the piece to be counted is put on (or

This is due to the operation of the counters in the view and FIG. 5 the same in a view from below; 6 is a schematic representation of the circuitry and operation of the device. Fig. 7 illustrates a detail in elevation.
As can be seen, the device consists essentially of two separate devices. namely the actual counting and control device, Fig. 1-3, and the current closing device, Flg. 4-5, which are only connected to each other by the power lines, so that the counting and control device can be accommodated in a room that is as far away as you want from the room where the goods are counted and where the power cut-off device is located. The device shown, intended for counting breads, counts the
EMI1.5
The counting and control device is expediently attached to a plate 1 with which it can be attached to the wall.
It is a frame formed from columns 2 and plates 3 are the two series of counting disks, in the illustrated case two pairs z, z 'respectively. k, k 'rotatably mounted on axes, which two series are made dependent on each other in such a way that when one series z, z' is switched in the counting sense, the other series moves in the negative sense, thus the on the counting series z , z 'counted number on the other, which (' ontrolserio k, k 'is subtracted. The disks z and k are used in the present case for decadic counting to display the counts, the disks or k' to display the hundreds, while the units are represented by a fixed disk marked with a zero o or o.
The rotation of the counting disks takes place in a known manner by means of a spring drum 4, which, by means of the gear counters J, ss, 7 on the one hand, the counting disk z and a pinion 8,
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
on the other hand a wind vane 9 operates, which latter is intended to regulate the rate of the clockwork.
The drive wheel 8 has the same diameter as the smaller wheel of the countershaft 7, which is seated on the same axis, and engages in a gear wheel 10 which is seated on the axis 59 of the counting disks k; the large wheel of the countershaft 6 has the same diameter as the wheel M and the counting disk z sits on the same axis, so that both disks k and z are rotated in the same direction. The translation from the disks k and z to the disks k 'and z' is carried out by means of a tens gearbox in such a way that on the axis of the disk k and z a single gear wheel 12 respectively. 14 sits, which is respectively equipped with a ratchet wheel 13 with ten pairs of teeth. 15 cooperates,

A brake spring 16 on the one hand and a locking mechanism 17, 18 of known type on the other hand serve to ensure the exactness of the movement.
So that the switching of the disks z, z 'and k, k' takes place intermittently, i.e. only when a certain number of the pieces to be counted (here ten) is placed on a bridge which is described later and actuates the current closing mechanism Locking device provided which is switched off intermittently by electromagnetic means. The same consists of an arm 19 seated on one of the clockwork shafts (7 with a lateral pin 20, which circles in the area of two tentacles 21 and 22 and

This alternating triggering takes place in an electromagnetic way. that the tentacles 21 respectively. 22 rigid with pendulum suspension. Anchors 23 respectively. 24 of electromagnets 2. 5 bcxw. 26 are connected, but which are usually de-energized, so that

In the area of these contact pins 35, two contact springs 36 and 37 engage, which are arranged opposite the pins 35 that when the wheel 32 is switched, one and the other contact spring 36 and 37 are alternately picked up by a pin 35 and a metallic contact is thereby established.
The ratchet wheel 32 is switched on (see Fig. 6) by means of the contact 38 and lines 34 in the circuit of an electrical power source 40,

via a common contact 39 back to the battery 40. As soon as the bridge dz go's is lowered (due to the load from a certain number, in the present case ten loaves of bread), the bridge 33 switches the wheel 32 forward by one division: this causes x . B. a pin 35 with the spring 36 in contact, creating a circuit (40-38

The next time the bridge is loaded, the z. B. automatically by means of weight or spring 43 has been raised again, the wheel 32 is again
