   Bei der neuen Verbindung handelt es sieh   um kein Salz.   etwa nach \rt der bekannten Salze der Dialkylbarbitursäuren   bzw. Aralkylbajbitursäuren   mit organischen Basen bzw. der Salze des Phenyl-

Diese Salze unterscheiden sieh in der Farbe in keiner Weise von der Farbe der Muttersubstanzen, während nach der vorliegenden Erfindung aus   weissen   Ausgangsstoffen eine Verbindung erhalten wird, die gelb ist. Schon dieser Umstand beweist. dass durch das vorliegende Verfahren eine molekulare Änderung herbeigeführt wird. Die neue Verbindung verhält sich daher chemisch auch ganz anders als die erwähnten Salze. Während bei diesen die Reaktion der einzelnen Ausgangstoffe unverändert erhalten ist, ist das bei der vorliegenden Verbindung nicht der Fall.

   So gibt das dimethylaminophenyldimethyl-   pyrazolon   mit Wasserstoffsuperoxyd und Essigsäure bei gelindem wärmen eine charakteristische Blaufärbung. die bei der neuen Verbindung nicht eintritt. E folgt jedoch ihre. Aufspaltung durch MineralSäuren in der Wärme, so erscheint die Reaktion wieder. 



   Das vorliegende Verfahren führt also   überraschenderweise zu   einer besonders gearteten. neuen Verbindung mit neuen wertvollen Eigenschaften.

This fact alone proves it. that a molecular change is brought about by the present process. The new compound therefore behaves chemically very differently than the salts mentioned. While the reaction of the individual starting materials remains unchanged in these, this is not the case with the present compound.

   Dimethylaminophenyldimethylpyrazolone with hydrogen peroxide and acetic acid gives a characteristic blue coloration when heated gently. which does not occur with the new connection. However, E follows theirs. Splitting by mineral acids in the heat, the reaction reappears.
