Die bisher bekannten Fussmattensicherungen bestehen aus zwei Platten, deren untere mit einer Kröpfung versehen ist, die von dem feststehenden Flügel der Wohnungstür festgehalten wird. Beide Platten sind mit entsprechenden Löchern versehen, wobei die Löcher der oberen Platte Muttergewinde besitzen, in welche Schrauben eingeschraubt werden können, die, durch die Fussmatte hindurchgehen, beide Platten fest miteinander verbinden, so dass ein Entwenden der Matte So gut wie ausgeschlossen ist.
Die vorliegende Erfindung hat den Zweck, diese Konstruktion wesentlich zu verbilligen.
Dies wird dadurch erreicht, dass die Verbindung der beiden Platten nicht durch Schrauben oder Nieten sondern durch Stege erfolgt, die aus der einen Platte ausgestanzt werden, und in entsprechende Schlitze der anderen Platte eingreifen, derart, dass ein Lösen bei geschlossenem Türflügel ausgeschlossen ist.
