Tube.

Tube.
The subject of the present invention is a tube for receiving pasty masses and dispensing them in small quantities.
The tube according to the present invention is formed by a roll of impregnated wood pulp board, which carries a flat front wall with a hole designed depending on the type of filling compound as an outlet opening. The front wall is closed by a folded cap covering the entire surface, with the out of use through a special folded cap covered rear opening a piston is expediently introduced, also made of wood pulp.
Through this tube, the inconveniences caused by tubes made of other substitute material for tin, such. B. the splintering of glass tubes from the edge of the outlet tube into which the tube forming the tube is pulled out, avoiding the paste from drying out due to a leaky seal and, on the other hand, ensuring that the filled pasty mass is pressed out completely.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention appears in the drawing, namely FIG. 1 shows a longitudinal section and FIG. 2 shows a view from below with the lower closure cover lifted off. The cardboard tube a has a flat front wall c with the outlet opening b, which is closed off by the cap d, while the rear opening is covered with a special cap e to enable the filling to be completely sealed off. In the roller a, a piston is guided to press out the tube filling, which is advantageously formed by a cardboard disk f flanged against the back of the tube.
Even if the resilient edges of this disc ensure a tight connection to the inner wall of the roll, when using certain types of cardboard or depending on the consistency of the tube filling, it is advantageous to insert a resilient, expediently star-shaped into the cavity of the flanged cardboard disc To arrange designed plate g in order to increase the security of the tight connection and to avoid falling back completely.
The tube according to the present invention can be used not only for pharmaceutical products, but also for food or technical articles. It also allows complete sterilization for medical purposes.
