Knopf.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein durch den Verbraucher mit beliebigem Stoff zu überziehender Knopf, ein sogenannter Montageknopf, der aus einer Unterplatte mit aufliegendem wulstförmigen Rande und einem kappenförmigen Oberteil besteht, das mit Stoff überzogen und in den Wulst des Unterteiles eingedrückt wird, wo es sich festklemmt. Die Unterplatte mit dem aufliegenden wulstförmigen Rande wurde bisher aus einem Stuck Celluloid hergestellt, bei einer gleichartigen Herstellung aus Blech wirft der wulstförmige Rand, weil er innen hohl ist, Falten, Zur Vermeidung letztgenannten Nachteils ist nach der Erfindung der Knopfunterteil aus zwei Stücken, und zwar aus der eigentlichen Grundplatte und einem mit letzterer verbundenen, die Eindrückwulst bildenden Ring zusammengesetzt.
Die beiden Teile des Knopfunterteiles lassen sich einzeln in gewünschter Weise leicht herstellen und ohne Schwierigkeiten miteinander verbinden.
Die Zeichnung veranschaulicht einen solchen Knopf in beispielsweiser Ausführung. Es zeigen die Fig. i und 2 die beiden Einzelteile des Knopfunterteiles vor ihrer Zusammensetzung im Schnitt, Fig. 3 den kappenförmigen Knopfoberteil im Schnitt, Fig. 4 und 5 den. zusammengesetzten und mit Stoff überzogenen Knopf im Schnitt und im Grundriss.
Der Knopfunterteil besteht aus der eigentlichen Grundplatte 1 mit den Annähelöchern 2 und dem auf der Oberseite umgewulsteten Ring 3, welche einzeln hergestellt und darauf durch Andrücken des Ringes 3 an den Rand der Grundplatte 1 miteinander verbunden werden. Da bei der Herstellung des Knopfunterteiles aus Blech der Innenrand der Eindrückwulst 3 nur wenig federt, kann zweckmässig der Rand des kappenförmigen Oberteiles 4 mit Einschnitten 5 versehen sein (Figi 3), damit dieser mehr federt. Nachdem die Kappe 4 mit Stoff 6 überzogen ist, wird sie auf den Unterteil 1, 3 aufgedrückt (Fig. 4).

The drawing illustrates such a button in an exemplary embodiment. FIGS. The button lower part consists of the actual base plate 1 with the sewing holes 2 and the ring 3 with bulging on the upper side, which are individually manufactured and then connected to one another by pressing the ring 3 against the edge of the base plate 1. Since the inner edge of the push-in bead 3 is only slightly resilient when the button lower part is made of sheet metal, the edge of the cap-shaped upper part 4 can expediently be provided with incisions 5 (FIG. 3) so that it is more resilient. After the cap 4 is covered with fabric 6, it is pressed onto the lower part 1, 3 (FIG. 4).
