In Fig. i im Längsschnitt durch das Schloss nach der Linie A-B der Fig. 2 ; Fig. 2 im Querschnitt durch das Schlossgehäuse nach C-D der Fig. 1 ; Fig. 3 eine der die Zuhaltungen aufnehmende drehbare Scheibe mit und ohne eingesetzten Zuhaltungen ; Fig. 4 ein Stechschlüssel ; Fig. 5 ein auf diesen aufsteckbarer Aufsatzring im Längsschnitt ; Fig. 6 dessen Stirnansicht ; Fig. 7 zwei Zuhaltungen in Stirn-und Längsansicht ; Fig. 8 eine Anordnung der Verschlusseinrichtung mit seinen Stangenriegeln bei Schiebetüren im Zusammenhang mit dem Alarmapparat ;

Locking device for sliding and wing doors of rail freight cars, magazines, etc. like
The invention relates to a locking device for sliding and wing doors from
Own rail freight wagons, furniture trucks, magazines, barns, etc. Like., for the purpose of not only enabling the door to be opened by a completely reliable security lock exclusively using the associated special socket wrench, but also to prevent the room from being intruded on if the door is opened by force without using the lock.
This object is achieved according to the invention in that the moved by the lock
Bar bolts are connected to an alarm device and a protective grille in such a way that when the door is opened forcibly, the alarm signal is triggered and the protective grille is pulled in front of the door opening or falls down in the case of wing doors.
The lock mechanism itself consists. similarly already known devices in a fixed lock housing mounted in the door with a lock part rotatable therein which has a number of axially displaceable tumblers. The part that receives the tumblers now consists of two circular disks that are firmly connected to one another, from which a three-edged or polygonal spanner protrudes for placing a socket wrench. The rotatable disks are provided with recesses to accommodate the axially spring-loaded tumblers lying against one another in groups, which interact with their differently arranged incisions with a locking disk in the lock housing and only allow the lock to rotate in a known manner if each of the tumblers is in a certain , is brought to the same position as the locking disk.
The invention also consists in a peculiar design of the spanner containing the radial incisions for setting the tumblers and in the special devices that relate to the relationship between the alarm signal, the protective grille and the design of the bar bolts that are required to the to secure the desired mode of operation of the locking device.
The subject of the invention is shown in Figs. I to 13, namely:
In Fig. I in a longitudinal section through the lock along the line A-B of Fig. 2; Fig. 2 in cross section through the lock housing according to C-D of Fig. 1; 3 shows one of the rotatable discs receiving the tumblers with and without tumblers inserted; 4 shows a key; 5 shows an attachment ring that can be slipped onto this in longitudinal section; 6 shows its end view; 7 shows two tumblers in front and longitudinal view; 8 shows an arrangement of the locking device with its bar bolts in sliding doors in connection with the alarm apparatus;
9 shows the overall arrangement; in FIGS. 10 and II details of the alarm whistle actuation and in FIGS. 12 and 13 an arrangement for sliding doors with the protective grille when the security lock is locked and open.
In the illustrated embodiment, the fixed lock part consists of an annular bushing with the middle locking disc a and two circular discs d, <P, which are firmly connected to one another by the edge mandrel e and which hold the tumblers c, and also of a cap b, which is attached to the rear locking disc is firmly connected and against which the cushioning of the tumblers is supported. This cap or disk is used to transmit the lock rotation to the rod bolt and for this purpose has one or two engagement pins i, but can also be set up in the manner of shooting bolt locks for rack drive.

The lock housing is hidden inside the door.
The tumblers c lie with their end face in one plane, so that it cannot be seen by how much the individual tumblers have to be pushed back in order to allow passage through the locking disk and also not to allow an impression to be taken.
The mandrel, which is to be lengthened towards the blocking side, is used to attach a socket wrench, as is commonly used on railroad cars. However, this does not in itself enable the locking, but must be provided with an attachment that contains the required, different depth frontal and radial cutouts for the tumblers, along with a symbol in which position the key is to be inserted.
Both for reasons of easier production and especially for rail and other transport purposes, it is advisable not to provide the key with the necessary incisions, but with an exchangeable attachment ring, which is separated from the key, easily carried and safely stored or sent can only be attached to any key of the same type for use. The ring and key are secured against rotation. A second attachment ring is deposited in the responsible office. 8 and 9 show the relationship between the lock and the door and the alarm device.
The sliding door g has two eyelets h into which the

On the axis of the thumb k there is a lever for lifting a locking bolt p from a locking disc In, which sits on the axis of the cock of the alarm whistle o and is turned by a lever weight when it is released. The alarm whistle is connected to a steam source (locomotive) or a compressed air tank n under the car floor.
The function of the alarm device is as follows:
If the lock is locked (Fig. 8), the bar bolts and their drop hooks are sunk into the bracket of the car door. The lifting thumb k for the ratchet tooth p is in engagement with the hook 1 and held under tension by a spring. The drawn situation

Weight. If the sliding door were to be opened by force without first unlocking the lock, the thumb k is twisted, the tooth p is excavated and the falling weight (or a tension spring) turns the cock of the alarm whistle so that it sounds.
FIGS. I2 and I3 show the arrangement supplemented by the protective grille in an embodiment in which the rod bars do not move uniformly, but move against one another. The bar bolts are provided with extensions s, which have to cause the catch ratchets to be lifted out when the lock is opened. These hooks are used to couple the two parts in the locked position of the lock by inserting them into the driver parts of the sliding door when the door is opened. The pawls r are hinged to the concertina frame for this purpose. When it is moved, they slide in guide channels so that they cannot be digged out.
With this device, an intrusion is prevented even with vomited parts of the lock by pulling the grille in front of the opening. On the other hand, the alarm signal sounds at the same time that enables the perpetrators to be arrested. On the other hand, when the lock is used properly, that is to say when the bar bolt is moved, the lifting thumb k is disconnected from the hook 1 and the alarm device does not come into action, the concertina gate remains at rest.
The protective grating movement can take place instead of being taken directly through the car door by a trigger that is initiated by the movement of the car door, so that, for. B. in the case of double doors, the protective grille falls off.
These safety devices, as well as the great diversity of the key design, as a result of the many interchangeable tumblers, offer such a high level of protection that a seal on the car doors does not appear to be necessary.
PATENT CLAIMS: 1. Locking device for sliding and wing doors of rail freight cars, magazines, etc. Like., characterized in that the bar bolt moved by the lock are connected to an alarm device and a protective grille, the alarm signal being triggered when the door is opened by force without using the lock and the protective grille is pulled in front of the door opening or falls down.
