Description

Dachziegel.

Roof tiles.
Apart from the fact that production is more expensive, the noses provided on the usual roof tiles have the disadvantage that they break off easily, making the roof tile unusable. The known devices for the reliable connection of the roof tiles (such as double-bent sheets, S-shape, etc.) make the arrangement of special noses superfluous, but are too complicated for such a mass-produced article and therefore too expensive under the current conditions. The present invention is intended to make it possible to provide roof tiles that have been produced smoothly with a securely holding nose by simply attaching a clip, so that tiles that have become unusable can immediately be reliably used again by breaking them off.
The invention consists in the fact that the clip is drawn in at the ends, so that a sufficiently firm connection between brick and nose is ensured solely by the resilient effect of the clip achieved in this way.
In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment in FIG. 1 in longitudinal section, in FIG. 2 in a rear view and in FIG. 3 diagrammatically.
In the illustrated embodiment, the organ forming the nose of the roof tile is formed by this sheet metal chamber 1, which is pushed with its legs bent slightly inward at the end over the edge of the tile 3 and is thus clamped to it. This also has the advantage that inaccuracies in the thickness of the bricks are irrelevant. A tongue 2 is punched out of the plane of the one clamp leg, which, when bent accordingly, results in the nose protruding from the plane of the tile for hanging the roof tile.
