  Kugelzapfengelenk für die Lenkung von Kraftwagen u. dgl. 



   Die Erfindung betrifft ein   tugelzapfengelenk,   das bei der Lenkung von Automobilen oder ähnlichen Einrichtungen Verwendung findet. Da derartige Gelenke den Verunreinigungen   leicht ausgesetzt sind, muss der Kugelzapfen so geschützt sein, dass Fremdkörper, wie Strassenstaub u. dgl. nicht zu den Gleitflächen gelangen können.. Zu diesem Zwecke erfolgt die Abdichtung gegen Staub durch einen zwischen Kugelpfanne und Auge angeordneten   metallischen Dichtungsring, der auf einem zylindrischen Ansatz des Auges g verschiebbar gleitet und durch eine Feder gegen die Kugelpfanne gepresst wird. 



   Die Zeichnung stellt   ein Ausführungsbeispiel   der Erfindung dar. Der Kugelzapfen a ist in dem Auge b des Lenkhebels c mittels Konus und Schraubenmutter befestigt. Dieser Lenkhebel steht in Verbindung mit dem Achsstummel. Die Kugel lagert in der zweiteiligen Kugelpfanne d, die mit einer auswechselbaren Beilage e versehen ist. Die Kugelpfannen-   hälften   werden durch den Gelenkkopf f zusammengehalten. An dem Gelenkkopf ist eine Stauferbüchse o. dgl. angebracht, welche die Schmierung der Gleitflächen besorgt. Von dem Gelenkkopf weg geht die Lenkstange, die jedoch nicht in der Zeichnung dargestellt ist, Das Auge   b   ist mit einem zylindrischen.

   Ansatz g versehen, auf welchem verschiebbar ein Ring h sitzt, der durch eine Feder i abdichtend gegen die Kugelpfanne d   gepresst-wird,   Die Berührungsflächen des Dichtungsringes   h mit - der   Kugelpfanne d sind kugelförmig ausgebildet, so dass die Abdichtung bei jeder Lage der Lenkungsteile gewährleistet ist.
