EMI1.1
The invention relates to a ball stud mainly for automobiles and other machine devices.
So far, the ball stud has often been provided with a lubricating device, which was placed or screwed onto the lever eye of the ball stud, as a result of which it formed a special larger attachment to the lever eye and could therefore easily be damaged or come loose by itself.
In order to remedy these inconveniences, the present ball pivot, which is due to its consistently almost identical axis position of the pivot, especially for drawbar couplings. Wheel steering systems for automobiles and the like, mainly suitable for absorbing thrust and gravitational forces, the ball socket opposite the cone of the ball stud or the lever eye designed as a ball head bearing designed as a grease gun, which means that the lubrication device is significantly simplified and, in conjunction with the ball bearing, is built much lower.
In the drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown in one embodiment, for example.
The ball stud, which consists of a ball head a with an adjoining cone c and a screw bolt attachment with an associated nut d, is firmly connected to the eye of a lever b at its conical part, while the ball head a is rotatably mounted in the eye k of a lever g by means of a cranked bearing shell h .
This bearing shell A is provided with a recess i for receiving lubricant and a central opening for its supply to the ball head a and forms a lubricant can with a screwed-on cover. On the sides facing each other, the eyes of levers b and g are given away with spherical surfaces that are concentric to each other and a sealing ring e concentric to the ball pivot, whereby the ball joint is safely guided and well sealed, so that the leakage of the lubricant and the ingress of dust and dirt the moving parts of the ball joint is prevented.
