Verfahren zur partiellen Materialveredelung der Oberfläche von Metallgegenständen.
Bei Ausübung des Verfahrens nach dem Stammpatente Nr. 80064 kann bei der Veredelung von Grundmetallen, deren Schmelzpunkt wesentlich unter dem des aufzutragenden Metalles liegt, wie z. B. bei Gusseisen und Bronze, durch Unachtsamkeit des Schweissers pine Verbrennung bzw. Oxydation dieser Grundmetalle eintreten. Man kann nun die kohlenstoffärmeren Eisen, wie Schmiedeeisen oder Stahl, bei welchen diese Gefahr infolge ihrer höheren Schmelzpunkte nicht besteht, benützen, um die Unabhängigkeit von der manuellen Geschicklichkeit des Schweissers, insbesondere bei der Veredelung von Gusseisen, zu erreichen. indem man dieselben als Hilfsschicht mittels der in der Technik gebräuchlichen elektrischen oder autogenen Schvreissmethoden zuerst auf das Gusseisen in dünner Schicht aufschweisst und dann erst hierauf die Veredelung nach dem Verfahren des Stammpatentes ausführt.
