Ventilated grinding process with vertical grinding stones.
It is already known to arrange ventilation blades in grinding operations, the main purpose of which is to cool the grinding stones. In the case of grinding steps with vertical grinding stones, i. H. So with a horizontal rotor shaft, these wings are usually attached to the outside of the rotor. In this type of grinding process, special devices are required for feeding the material to be ground between the grinding surfaces. So it is e.g. B. known to arrange arms on the rotor shaft, which press the Mahlgut'between the millstones fed by a screw from the inlet funnel.
In the grinding process, which is the subject of the present invention, the ventilation elements are now used simultaneously to convey the ground material and thus a special feed device is spared in that fan blades are arranged directly on the rotor shaft in central recesses of the grinding stones, through which the grinding material is removed while the grinding stones are cooled at the same time is sucked into the adjoining inlet funnel and conveyed between the grinding stones.
In the drawing, the relevant parts of such a grinding process are shown, namely Fig. 1 shows a cross section through the mill in the axis of the rotor shaft, while Fig. 2 illustrates a cross section through the last-mentioned shaft with the fan blades arranged on it.
According to the invention, one or more suitably shaped ones are on the rotor shaft
Wing b arranged, which within corresponding recesses el, e2 of the Mahlste! rotate ne dl d2. Since the shaft a makes about 700 to 800 revolutions per minute, they work
Wings suck in the ground material falling through the inlet funnel c adjoining the recesses el, e2 and guide it quickly, safely and evenly between the
Millstones, which at the same time ensure sufficient cooling of the millstones or the grinding material.
The new grinding mechanism is particularly suitable for hand mills due to the simplicity and expediency of its design, which also enables cheap production.
