CARL BORG IN LEIPZIG.
Fig. 1 ein Grundriss des Sockels'
Fig. 2-4 sind verschiedene Schnitte desselben ;
Fig. 5 zwei übereinander angeordnete, an die Leitung angeschlossene Sichorungssockel.
(Fig. 5).

CARL BORG IN LEIPZIG. Base for lighting fuses.
The currently known bases to be arranged one above the other for electrical fuses in medium-voltage systems have the major disadvantage that the lead wires to be connected to the poles or one of them, either above, below or laterally around both bases, must be led to the second terminal, whereby the Laying made difficult and the good appearance of such systems is greatly impaired. In addition, to avoid short circuits, damage, etc. s. w. Strong insulation of the wire is also necessary.
The purpose of the present invention is to make it possible, by appropriate design of the fuse base, that the lead wires or one of them can be guided through the two bases arranged one above the other to the terminal and protected and insulated by the base itself.
In the drawing is
Fig. 1 is a plan view of the base
Figs. 2-4 are different sections of the same;
5 shows two fuse bases arranged one above the other and connected to the line.
The invention consists essentially in that through bores b are made in the insulating body k at right angles to the power line rails s (FIG. 5) or to the grooves M receiving them, such that they cross the vertical bores a receiving the clamping device , so that the wire d, which otherwise had to be led around the base, inserted into the hole b and brought to the terminal p, respectively. can be connected to the same. (Fig. 5).
In this way, the bases serve both as insulation and as protection for the lead wire from damage.
