Small plane with foot drive.
The subject of the invention is an airplane with a foot drive, mainly used for sports purposes, in which the connection of spring motors with the foot drive increases the force at the appropriate moment, which is necessary to overcome obstacles and the like. Like. Can be exploited.
In the drawing, the aircraft is shown diagrammatically in FIG. Fig. 2 shows a detail.
The aircraft A rests on three wheels B, B, B2. The wheel B2 can be controlled from the hand lever C and is designed as a type of side control.
Inside the box-like frame, the treadmill E, the saddle F, the spring motors G and Gl, the clutch lever H and the height control lever j are housed.
The wheels B, B are provided with attachment springs D '.
A third spring motor K is positioned at the front; The movement is transmitted from the pedal motor E through the bevel gear pair L, D- and the shaft M to the cord or belt pulley M, from where a further transmission to the air propeller 0 takes place via belts.
A third bevel gear L2 engages in the bevel gear L, which has the task of transmitting the force supplied by the spring motor K to the air propeller 0, otherwise it will run idle.
The spring motors should intervene at the appropriate moment, for which purpose all three are connected to a roller clutch and stop device, as FIG. 2 shows. P is the shaft to be driven, Q is the last gear of the spring
EMI1.1
All three spring motors can be wound up using hand cranks S, namely the inner leg ends from the seat.
The athlete sets the aircraft in motion and, as required, switches on the spring motors individually or together with the hand lever H (clutch lever), which can be pulled up again from the seat after the end.
