Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft die bekannte Methode der Herstellung von Betonpiloten durch Eintreiben eines am unteren Ende mit einem geeigneten Schuh versehenen Rohres in den Boden und dem Herausziehen des Rohres nach Erreichung der erforderlichen Tiefe und nach dessen Ausfüllung mit Beton entweder im flüssigen Zustande oder in Form einer vorher gegossenen Betonsäule oder einer Kombination beider.
Nach der vorliegenden Erfindung besitzt die obere Fläche des Schuhes einen Doppelflansch, wobei der ringförmige Zwischenraum zwischen beiden Flanschen etwas weiter ist als die Flanschstärke des Rohres und das untere Ende des Rohres in diesen Zwischenraum eingeschoben wird, der dann mit Ton, Hanf oder einem anderen Packungsmaterial abgedichtet wird ; wenn der Schuh durch Schwimmsand, Wasser oder ähnlichem Material in den Boden getrieben wird, so wird auf diese Weise das Eindringen von Wasser, Sand o. dgl. zwischen Schuh und Rohr und damit in den Hohlraum des Rohres verhindert. Hat das Rohr die gewünschte Tiefe erreicht, so wird es in gewöhnlicher Weise mit flüssigem, gewünschtenfalls armiertem Beton ausgefüllt oder aber mit einer vorher gegossenen oder geformten Betonsäule, die gleichfalls, wenn gewünscht, armiert sein kann, oder endlich mit einer Kombination beider.
Das Rohr wird dann herausgezogen, der innere Flansch oder Teil des Schuhes kann entweder oberhalb oder unterhalb oder in gleicher Höhe mit dem äusseren Flansch liegen. Wenn der Schuh oder dessen oberer Teil aus Beton besteht, so sollte er ausgehöhlt oder anderweitig derart gestaltet sein, dass er eine gute Verbindung mit der nachfolgenden Füllung bildet.
In manchen Fällen wird bei Benutzung. einer festen Säule deren äusserer Durchmesser etwas kleiner gemacht als der lichte Durchmesser des Rohres und der Zwischenraum zwischen beiden mit flüssigem Beton ausgefüllt.

In Fig. 1 ist a ein Schuh aus Gusseisen und bein Stahlrohr, c ist ein elastischer Packungsring und d eine Füllung von plastischem Ton. Zweckmässig wird zuerst die Packung in die Nut gebracht, die dann mit Ton ausgefüllt wi-d, worauf man das Rohr in die Nut treibt, wobei der Ton verdrängt und die Packung zusammengepresst wird.
In Fig. 2 besteht der Schuh aus armiertem Beton, im übrigen ist die Einrichtung dieselbe.
