Verfahren zur Uberhitzung von Dampf.
Bei bekannten Dampfüberhitzern ibt der Dampf im Überhitzer stets noch gesättigt und kann nur durch eine Temperaturerhöhung von der in ihm enthaltenen Feuchtigkeit befreit werden. Infolgedessen muss man den Überhitzern eine ziemlich beträchtliche Grösse geben und sie an einer Stelle in den Weg der Feuergase einschalten, die nicht zu weit von der Feuerung entfernt ist. Wenn einem solchen Überhitzer infolge einer Verminderung oder eines Aussetzens der Dampfentnahme nicht genügend frischer Dampf zugeführt wird, kann auch ein Verbrennen des Rohrbündels eintreten, falls man nicht komplizierte Vorrichtungen vorsieht, um diesem Übelstande zu begegnen.
Gemäss der Erfindung sollen diese Übelstände dadurch vermieden werden, dass der Druck des Dampfes zwischen der Entnahmestelle und einem Überhitzer vermindert wird, und zwar zweckmässig um einen konstanten Betrag, und dass gleichzeitig der Aufnehmer für den Dampf von verminderter Spannung mindestens auf der Temperatur gehalten wird, die der Dampf vor seiner Spannungsverminderung hatte. Dies wird beispielsweise dadurch erreicht, dass der Spannungsabfall in einem geeigneten Aufnehmer vor sich geht, der im Dampfraum des Kessels angeordnet ist. Der Dampf erfährt also eine isothermische Expansion und man erhält vollkommen trockenen Dampf mit einem Überhitzer von sehr geringen Abmessungen, der an einer von der Feuerung entfernten Stelle, z. B. in der Rauchkammer, angeordnet sein kann.

In the case of known steam superheaters, the steam in the superheater is always saturated and can only be freed from the moisture contained in it by increasing the temperature. As a result, one has to give the superheaters a fairly considerable size and switch them on at a point in the path of the flue gases which is not too far from the furnace. If sufficient fresh steam is not supplied to such a superheater as a result of a reduction in steam extraction or a cessation of steam extraction, the tube bundle can also burn if complicated devices are not provided to counter this inconvenience.
According to the invention, these inconveniences are to be avoided in that the pressure of the steam between the extraction point and a superheater is reduced, suitably by a constant amount, and that at the same time the sensor for the steam is kept at least at the temperature with reduced voltage, that the steam had before its tension reduction. This is achieved, for example, in that the voltage drop takes place in a suitable sensor which is arranged in the steam chamber of the boiler. The steam thus experiences an isothermal expansion and one obtains completely dry steam with a superheater of very small dimensions, which is located at a point remote from the furnace, e.g. B. in the smoke chamber can be arranged.
