   Das Neue der Erfindung besteht in einen Dampferzeuger, welchem eine Drosselspirale vorgeschaltet ist. Diese aus einem langen und engen Rohr bestehende Drossel spirale dient dazu, den Druck des Speisewassers zu vermindern und es vorzuwärmen. Hinter dem Dampferzeuger befindet sich der Dampfüberhitzer. 



   Der Dampferzeuger soll dazu dienen, Dampf von niedriger Spannung und sehr hoher Temperatur zu erzeugen ; er wird gewöhnlich an die Wasserleitung oder an ein höher liegendes Reservoir angeschlossen. 



   Der Wasserleitungsdruck wird in der   Drosselspirato   bedeutend abgeschwächt, sodass der aus dem Überhitzer austretende Dampf keine nennenswerte Spannung besitzt. Die   Dampftempel ; ttur   liegt zwischen   3000-4000   C. 



   Wie aus der Zeichnung ersichtlich, besteht der Apparat ans dem Dampferzeuger a und der   Droseelspirale   b. c ist der   Dampfüberhitzer. An dem Ende der Überbitzerschlange befindet sich der feste Teil des Kugelgelenks   c.   Das Strahlrohr f befindet sich an dem beweglichen Teil des Kugelgelenks. 



   Die Heizung des Dampferzeugers besteht in der Regel aus einem Kohlenwasserstoffbrenner.
