Kühlerelement für Röhrehenkühler.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Kühlerelement für Röhrchenkühler von Ver- brennungskraftmaschinen, wie sie für Strassen-und Luftfahrzeuge verwendet werden.
Jedes Element besteht nach der Erfindung aus Röhrchen mit kreuzförmigen, durch- lochten Zwischenwänden, die eine starke Wirbelung der Luft in den vier miteinander in Verbindung stehenden Räumen des Elements hervorrufen.

Seitenansicht, Fig. 3 dessen Draufsicht, Fig. 4 zeigt ein fertiges, aus zwei Teilen zusammen- gesetztes Element im Querschnitt.
Die Herstellung erfolgt in der Weise, dass aus je einem Blechstreifen rohrförmige Elementhälften von rechteckigem bzw. quadratischem Querschnitt hergestellt werden. an deren einer Breitseite die Blechränder in das Innere des Röhrchens umgebogen sind (Fig. I) und bis zur gegenüberliegenden Wand reichen, so dass jede Hälfte aus zwei Zellen besteht.
Diese Breitseite des Blechstreifens ist mit Durchlochungen versehen, die bis in den ent- standenen Quersteg hineinreichen. Werden zwei solche Teile, mit den durchlochten Seiten aneinanderliegend, miteinander bei x x (Fig. 4) verlötet, so entsteht ein rohrförmiges
Kühlerelement mit kreuzförmigen Zwischenstegen, deren eine beliebige Anzahl durch Verlöten zu einem Kühler vereinigt werden.

The subject of the invention is a cooler element for tube coolers of internal combustion engines, such as those used for road vehicles and aircraft.
According to the invention, each element consists of small tubes with cross-shaped, perforated partitions which cause a strong turbulence in the air in the four interconnected spaces of the element.

The production takes place in such a way that tubular element halves of rectangular or square cross-section are produced from one sheet metal strip each. on one broad side of which the sheet metal edges are bent into the inside of the tube (Fig. I) and extend to the opposite wall, so that each half consists of two cells.
