Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Kühlerelement für Röhrenkühler von Verbrennungskraftmaschinen, wie sie für Straßen- und Luftfahrzeuge
verwendet werden.
Jedes Element besteht nach der Erfindung aus Röhrchen mit kreuzförmigen, durchlochten
Zwischenwänden, die eine starke Wirbelung der Luft in den vier miteinander in Verbindung

Die Herstellung erfolgt in der Weise, daß aus einem Blechstreifen rohrförmige Elementhälften von rechteckigem bzw. quadratischem Querschnitt hergestellt werden, an deren einer Breitseite α die Blechränder b in das Innere des Röhrchens umgebogen sind (Fig. 1) und bis zur gegenüberliegenden Wand reichen, so daß jede Hälfte aus zwei Zellen I und II besteht.
