Process for the production of emulsions.

The known mixtures of hydrocarbon chlorides, especially carbon tetrachloride or chlorides with more than one carbon atom, e.g. B. tetrachloroethane, pentachloroethane, trichlorethylene, perchlorethylene, with sulfonated products, especially sulfonated fats or oils, fatty or oleic acids, Turkish red oils, or the soaps obtained by treating these compounds with excess alkali at a higher temperature, can also be used with the addition of the usual laundry soaps ( Marseille soap, curd soap, olein soap) can be used. However, these soaps are only in small amounts in the mixtures

sulfonia. tem castor oil adds neutral castor soap. You can then add up to 30-40% laundry soaps to the mixtures of chloride and sulfonated product.

The new mixtures can be made, for example, as follows:
I. 100 parts by weight of the soaps obtained by treating sulfonated fats and oils with more than 5 "/ sodium hydrate at a higher temperature are mixed with 60 # 80 parts by weight carbon tetrachloride and 5 # 15 parts by weight neutral castor soap and then 10 # 30 parts by weight Marseilles soap, curd soap or olein soap added.

II. 100 parts by weight of Turkish red oil are mixed with 30-50 parts by weight of acetylene tetrachloride and 5 # 15 parts by weight of castor soap, and then 10-30 parts by weight of arsenic soap, curd soap or olive soap.

The new strong foaming mixtures can be used for degreasing and washing at the same time and in some cases also give a certain fulling effect at the same time.
