  Verfahren zur Abscheidung von Wasser oder wässerigen Lösungen aus Erdöl-oder anderen Ölemulsionen. 



   Die Schwierigkeiten der Abscheidung von Wasser aus Erdö'-oder anderen Ölemulsionen suchte man bis jetzt dadurch zu überwinden, dass man die Emulsionen längere Zeit erwärmte, wodurch jedoch in den meisten Fällen, sogar bei sehr langem Abstehen, nur eine unvollständige Abscheidung der wässerigen Phasen erreicht wurde. 



   Der Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung beruht auf der Erkenntnis, dass erst bei höherer Temperatur, die nur bei   Überdruck   zu erzielen ist, eine solche Verminderung

   Dieser Zustand verminderter Viskosität wird dadurch erreicht, dass die Emulsion in geschlossenen Gefässen auf die Temperaturen über   ioo"C   unter mindestens   I   Atm.

Die zur Trennung erforderliche Zeit ist von der Beschaffenheit der Emulsion und von der Grösse der suspen-   dierten Wassertei1chen abhängig.   Die Zeit des Abscheidens kann man verkürzen, wenn bei verminderter Viskosität die Emulsion durchgerührt und hierauf der Inhalt des Behälters absetzen gelassen wird. 



   Ausführungsbeispiel : Eine frisch aus dem Schachte gewonnene Rohölemulsion wird durch vier Stunden bei 8 Atm. Überdruck ohne Rühren erwärmt. Nach dieser Zeit ist die Trennung der Rohölemulsion in   56"/,) Salzlösung   und 440/0 Rohöl vollzogen. Ein Erwärmen auf 5-6 Atm. führt auch zum Ziele, erfordert aber zur Trennung unter   Riihren   eine Arbeitszeit von etwa 10 Stunden.
