Bei dem Azetylenapparat nach dem Patente Nr. 52850 wird der Löschkorb für das Karbid in dem Behälter um eine wagrechte Achse frei pendelnd aufgehängt. Diese Anordnung hat aber den Nachteil, dass der Karbidkorb in einer durch seine. Aufhängeachse gelegten Ebene nicht pendeln kann ; dieser Nachteil wird gemäss der Erfindung dadurch behoben, dass der Löschkorb in dem Behälter nach allen Richtungen hin frei pendelnd angeordnet wird. Zu diesem Zwecke wird der Löschkorb vorteilhafterweise auf eine Schraubenfeder aufgesetzt, so dass er nicht nur in allen wagrechten Richtungen, sondern auch in der lotrechten Richtung erschüttert werden kann.
In der Zeichnung ist der Apparat nach der Erfindung in einem Ausführungsbeispiel dar- gestellt.
