Heftbefestigung an Messer-, Gabel-u. dgl. Klingen.
Gemäss der Erfindung wird auf die für sich hergestellte, an einem Ende mit einer Kappe versehene, am anderen Ende eingekerbte Angel das Heft aufgesteckt, hierauf nur das eingekerbte Ende bis zum Anliegen des Heftes an den Klingenkropf in diesen eingeführt und darin durch äussere Pressung befestigt. Dadurch wird im Gegensatze zu der bisher bekannten Befestigung, wo auch das Heftende mit in den Klingenkropf eingeführt und mit dem Angelende und dem Kropf

In der Zeichnung ist in i in Ansicht und in Fig. 2 im Schnitt eine Heftbefestigung an einer Tischmesserklinge gemäss der Erfindung dargestellt. Fig. 3 zeigt die Klinge, Fig. 4 die Angel und Fig. 5 das Heft, jedes für sich.
Die Klinge a ist mit einem Kropf c und die Angel am unteren Ende mit einer Kappe versehen. In dem Kropf c ist eine Öffnung, angebracht. und am oberen Ende der Angel b sind zwei Seitenvertiefungen g. Das Heft e wird auf die Angel b aufgesteckt und diese mit ihrem aus dem Heft vorstehenden Ende in die Öffnung f des Klingenkropfes c so weit eingeführt, dass das Heft e fest zwischen den Kropf c und die Kappe d zu stehen kommt. Darauf wird der Kropf c von aussen so zusammengepresst. dass das Material des Kropfes in die Vertiefungen g der Angel b eingedrückt wird (siehe Fig. 2), wodurch die Angel mit dem Klingenkropf fest verbunden wird.
Die Kappe d kann auch in das Hef f zu stehen kommen, so dass sie von dem Heft verdeckt wird.
Damit das Heft e auf der Angel b gegen Verdrehung gesichert bleibt. greift die untere
