   Zu diesem Zwecke wird eine Linse r an einem Arme s in senkrechter Ebene schwingbar angebracht und mittels einer Feder t derart gehalten, dass sie durch die Bewegungen des Fahrzeuges an sich stets wippt und dabei dem Scheinwerfer a so vorgelagert ist, dass der abgelenkte Lichtkegel e durch die wippende Linse geht und dadurch eine wippende Bewegung erhält. Eine derartige
Linse wird in diesem Falle naturgemäss auch dem anderen Scheinwerfer vorgelagert. 



   Die wippende Bewegung des abgelenkten Lichtkegels kann selbstverständlich auch durch andere Einrichtungen erzeugt werden. Die Linsen selbst können auch eine besondere Färbung erhalten, um den zeichengebenden Lichtkegel zu färben und ihn hiedurch noch mehr hervor-   luhenen0  
Es ist nicht unbedingt notwendig, die Scheinwerfer selbst für die zu gebenden Lichtzeichen zu benutzen, sondern es können auch besondere Lichter zum Zeichengeben vorgesehen sein. 



   Auch müssen nicht die Lichter selbst ausschwingen, sondern es kann die Ablenkung lediglich durch Verschwenkung der vorderen Linse erzeugt werden. 



   Die Erfindung gibt ein ausserordentlich wirksames und praktisches Mittel, um in der
Dunkelheit die Fahrtrichtung des Fahrzeuges rechtzeitig und wirksam anzugeben.
