Leuchtpatrone zum Verschiessen mit Pistolen und dgl.
Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Leuchtpatrone zum Verschiessen mit Pistolen und dgl.
Die Einrichtung ist eine solche, dass sie ermöglicht, die Leuchtkugeln durch den Abschuss weiter wie bisher zu bringen und dass sie eine unsichtbare Flugbahn haben. Die Zündung erfolgt durch eine Guttaperchazündscbnur bzw. eine Bikfordzündschnur.
Die Einrichtung ist gemäss der Schnittzeichnung die folgende :
Die Patronenhülse b nimmt den Leuchtsatz d auf, dessen Spitze mit einer Beschwerung e versehen ist. a ist die Zündschnur, deren in die Pulverladung jf hineinragendes Ende mit einer Kapsel y umgeben ist ; die Zündschnur a ist von einer Filzscheibe h und einer Papp- scheibe k umgeben und endet unterhalb des Leuchtsatzes d.
Die Entzündung erfolgt durch den Abschuss mittels der Pistole, so dass das Zündhütchen c die Pulverladung,/* entzündet. Dadurch wird die Kappe g zum Glühen gebracht und entzündet die Zündschnur a bzw. deren Pulverseele. Diese brennt je nach ihrer Länge langsam fort, bis die Zündung an die Brandmasse bzw. den Leuchtsatz d gelangt, worauf der Leuchtsatz von oben brennend zur Erde fällt. Die Kappe g verhindert das Austreten der Funken, die beim Abbrennen der Zündschnur a entstehen, nach aussen, so dass die Flugbahn unsichtbar ist. Bekanntlich ist die Zufuhr von Sauerstoff zum Abbrennen der Pu1 \'erseele der Zündschnur a nicht nötig, da man entsprechende, sauerstoffhaltige Zündmassen zur Verfügung hat.
Die Pappscheibe k dient als Dichtung, durch welche das Feuer behindert wird, vor zeitig an die Leuchtmasse zu gelangen.
Die Filzdichtung h dient als Treibspiegel.

The invention relates to a light cartridge for shooting with pistols and the like.
The device is such that it enables the flares to be brought further as before through the launch and that they have an invisible trajectory. The ignition is carried out by a gutta-percha ignition cord or a Bikford fuse.

The cartridge case b takes the flare d, the tip of which is provided with a weight e. a is the fuse, the end of which protruding into the powder charge jf is surrounded by a capsule y; the fuse a is surrounded by a felt disk h and a cardboard disk k and ends below the flare d.
Ignition occurs when the pistol is fired, so that the primer c ignites the powder charge, / *. This causes the cap g to glow and ignites the fuse a or its powder core. Depending on its length, this burns slowly until the ignition reaches the incendiary compound or the flare d, whereupon the flare falls from above, burning to the ground. The cap g prevents the sparks, which arise when the fuse a is burned, from escaping to the outside so that the trajectory is invisible. As is well known, the supply of oxygen to burn off the pulp of the fuse a is not necessary, since appropriate, oxygen-containing ignition materials are available.
The cardboard disk k serves as a seal by which the fire is prevented from reaching the luminous material early.
The felt seal h serves as a sabot.
