  Holm für Flugzeuge. 



   Gegenatand vorliegender Erfindung ist ein Holm für Flugzeuge, der sich dadurch wesentlich und vorteilhaft von allen bekannten Holmen unterscheidet, dass er bei erheblicb geringerem Gewicht eine grössere Festigkeit, wie die bisher   benutzten Hohne   besitzt, und gleichzeitig erheblich billiger wie diese erzeugt werden kann, da bei seiner Herstellung viel weniger Abfall entsteht. Dieser Zweck wird dadurch   erreicht, dass   der Holm nach vorliegender Erfindung aus einem getrennten Ober-und Untergurt, der aus geeignetem, zähen Holz-Esche oder dgl. - und aus kreuzweise vorteilhafterweise disgonal verleimten Furnieren als Seitenwände hergestellt wird, die die zwischen Ober- und Untergurt entstehenden Schubkräfte besonders gut aufnehmen. 



   Das Ganze wird dann noch mit einer entsprechenden Stoffschicht umgeben. 



   In der Zeichnung ist eine beispielsweise Ausführungsform des Erfindungsgegenstandes dargestellt, und zwar zeigt :

   Der Ober-und Untergurt   (i und b   wird, wie erwähnt, aus   zähem   Holz oder dgl. erzeugt und durch die Seitenteile c verbunden. Die Seitenteile bestehen aus kreuzweise, vorteil. haft diagonal miteinander verleimten Furnieren d und e. 



   Um eine Ausbiegung der verleimten Furniere nach innen auszuschliessen sind ir. gewissen Abständen Klötzchen f aufgeleimt. Das Ganze ist mit einer Umhüllung   y     atp   Stoff versehen, die das Ausbiegen nach aussen verhindert. Die Biegungsbeanspruchuagen   werden durch   die Seitenwande c aufgenommen.
