The present invention relates to an arrangement on the known button drilling machines, whereby the device holding the button while it is being processed is rotated not only by 90 "but also by 1800 all at once, ie buttons with 4 or 2 buttonholes without changing wheels on the same A special adjustable stop is available for setting the knob holder sleeve to turn 90 or 180.
A button drilling machine provided with this new arrangement is shown in the accompanying drawing in FIG. 1 in a vertical longitudinal section, in FIGS. 2 and 3 in two different vertical views and in FIG. 4 in a top view.
In this button drill, the button is known to be held in a slotted conical clamping sleeve 1, which is attached to a spindle 2 and through

the tongues of the adapter sleeve is held. The sleeve 4 is rotatable in the button support. 5 and on the same front a disk 23 is attached, which is provided on its circumference with a number of recesses in which the nose of a spring 24 engages and which is used to hold the sleeve 4 in the correct position. Furthermore, a pinion (;, which engages in a four times larger gear wheel 7, which is rotatably mounted on the rearward-going arm. 'Of the button support 5 and which causes the button holder sleeve 4 to rotate by 90 or 180) is seated on the sleeve 4 .
On the axis 12 the gear 7 is loosely mounted and on the same a switching

Button supports 5 is attached.
If the button holder support 5 is displaced longitudinally on its guide, then the roller M passes in the inclined slot 18 of the angle support 17 and the slide 14 is thereby also displaced transversely. By moving the slide 14, the lever 11 is rotated by the joint piece 13 and the switching wheel 8 is advanced by the switching rod 9, i.e. H. the gear 7 and thereby also the gear drive 6 together with the button holder sleeve 4 rotated.

So that the worker operating the machine now knows exactly when to stop moving the button holder support 5 backwards, a pin 20 @ is screwed into the bottom of the same, which runs in a slot 25 of its guide 25 when the button holder support is moved in a slot 25 of its guide 25 and which with the Displacement lever 19 is coupled. This pin 20 strikes against an adjusting screw 21, which lies in the guide 25 and is secured against automatic adjustment by means of a nut 22.
This adjusting screw 21 is now adjusted according to the desired rotation of the button holder sleeve 4 so that when the button holder support 5 is shifted as far as it will go, the corresponding rotation of the button holder sleeve by 90 or 1800 takes place,
For sharpening the, in a known manner on the drill spindle 27 conveniently replaceable arranged drill 26 is on. a grindstone 28 is attached to the spindle. Guide 25 and drill spindle 27 are supported on the machine frame 29.
