Method and furnace for annealing bar stock, bars, tubes and the like.
The subject of the present invention is a method and furnace for annealing rods and tubes made of metal.
With the designs that have been used up to now, the furnace, which is around 7 to 8 Mt long, is loaded from the front. After opening the furnace, which in this case is a normal muffle furnace, the bars are placed on sheets and passed through

This furnace is not loaded from the front, but from the side. A conveyor belt runs straight through the furnace, which in this case is a flame furnace; The copper bars are placed on this conveyor belt and then inserted into the furnace by simply operating the conveyor chain. While the bars in the furnace go through the annealing process, the conveyor belt becomes

of the furnace is reached, because the now necessary unloading of the rods and throwing them into the water tank requires circumstances and loss of time with this hot material.
In addition, it will be possible without difficulty to operate the chain automatically, so that when the required glow time has expired, the chain moves further automatically and the workers do not need anything else. than putting on bars over and over again.
In the drawing, a furnace is shown in cross section.
The furnace offers the advantage that the material is the same over its entire length
