Thermal oheroitdea FSH material for cavity walls.
The subject of the present invention is a heat-insulating filler material for such vibrations or buildings in which walls and possibly also floor and roof go. nez or partially made of sheets of sheet metal, wood, Eternit, fabric or other materials suitable for the purpose, which sheets are attached in such a way to bars, rods or the like made of wood or metal serving as a framework (scaffolding) for the house that between the plates fixed opposite one another (inside and outside) an intermediate space is formed, which is filled with heat-insulating material.
According to the present invention, cotton wool, jute, hemp, flax or similar vegetable fibers are used as the heat-insulating filler material, which material has a very high heat-insulating capacity per unit weight in a loosened state. Matted vegetable fibers of z. B. Cotton wadding also offer the advantage that they can be held in place by cords or twine so that they do not sink into the deeper parts of the space and thus leave the upper parts without heat-insulating protection. Materials such as sawdust or peat, which have sometimes been used as heat-insulating materials, do not have this advantage.
The material used for thermal insulation according to the present invention can in fact be conveniently introduced in a loosened state in such a way that after the one, e.g. B. the outer clothing to which the framework has been attached, the wadding introduced into the space intended for the same and attached to this clothing by means of cords (string) or by means of glue, glue or another suitable
Binder attached and then the other clothing is attached to the other side of the framework.
PATENT CLAIMS: l. Heat-insulating filling material for cavity walls, consisting of cotton wadding or similar loosened vegetable fibers.
