Das Neue des den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildenden Hilfswerkzeuges für das Nähen mit Nähahle besteht darin, dass es durch einen Knebel gebildet wird, in welchem das ireie Fadenende durch Einziehen oder Einlegen so festgeklemmt werden kann, dass der Faden nicht über seine Oberfläche vorsteht. Auf diese Weise wird das Fadenende mit einem Handgriff versehen, welcher das Nähen wesentlich erleichtert. Das Hilfswerkzeug kann dabei verschiedenartig ausgebildet sein.
In der Zeichnung sind verschiedene Ausführungsformen dargestellt. Bei allen diesen ist mit a der aus beliebigem Material bestehende schiffchenartige Knebel bezeichnet, welcher zwecks glatten Durchschtüpfecs durch die Schleife des Ahlenfadens f (Fig. 12) vorteilhaft an seinem Vorderende oder an beiden Enden spitz ausgebildet ist, um ihn mit jedem Ende durch die Ahlenfadenschleife führen zu können. b ist das für den Knebel in Betracht kommende freie Fadenende, f der von der Spule d zur Able (Fig. 12) laufende Faden. Dieser Faden f läuft durch das Loch e im Ahlenkopf, dann längs der Riîle der Ahle durch das Öhr derselben, wie bekannt.

The novelty of the auxiliary tool for sewing with a sewing awl, forming the subject of the invention, is that it is formed by a toggle in which the ireie thread end can be clamped by drawing in or inserting so that the thread does not protrude beyond its surface.
