  Rubbing brush.

The invention relates to a friction brush and consists in the fact that the brush tufts are made from hollow grain straw and are arranged on the back of the brush in a known manner in such a way that the free tuft ends adjoin one another closely.

The brush tufts from the thin-walled, relatively large diameter hollow stalks of grain already hold the water that has penetrated into the brush better than tufts of full-straw straw, e.g. B. rice straw, from which the friction brushes were previously made. Because the tuft ends used in the back of the brush are tightly tied together and the significantly widening free tuft ends are closely connected to one another, large voids are created between the tufts at their roots, which fill with water when the brush is immersed and the water when lifting gradually release as a result of the pressure applied.

The brush absorbs much more water than the known friction brushes and therefore does not need to be immersed as often. In addition, the hollow straw moistened with water does not break.

Such a brush therefore makes the work much easier, is durable and is also cheaper than the known brushes made from full-grain straw

1 is the back of the brush, on which the fully made tufts 2 made of hollow grain straw are arranged in such a way that, as the drawing shows, the free tuft ends adjoin one another tightly. The tufts are cut in such a way that their ends are in one with the Brush wood lie on the same level.
