B. Wolfram-, Molybdän-oder Niekelmetall, also durchgehends kostspielige Metalle.

Fig. 2 zeigt eine Anordnung gemäss vorliegender Erfindung.

can therefore reduce the strength of this power supply to the mechanically permissible limits.

must, such as B. tungsten, molybdenum or Niekelmetall, so consistently expensive metals.

If the arrangement according to the present invention is selected, the amount of the power supply metal in question can easily be reduced to a fraction. Ba is even possible under certain circumstances to use cheaper metals instead of the expensive metals which could not be considered at all in a different arrangement.

Two embodiments are shown in the drawing.

Fig. 1 shows an annular glow body of the conventional arrangement. The power supply lines are brought right up to the spiral.

Fig. 2 shows an arrangement according to the present invention. The spiral a is stretched at its ends b and c and bent towards the power supply lines. The bent pieces d and e are so long that they are subject to significant cooling by the gas in the lamp cap and the disadvantages of arcing near the connection point are avoided; f and g are the power supply lines.

While in the usual arrangement, as shown in Fig. 1, the holder is only done by the holder h, i, k and no special holder is required near the end of the spiral, it is useful in the present arrangement to the Ends of
Spiral still one holder / or. m to be attached.

Fig. 3 shows an arrangement according to the present invention with a zigzag spiral wire.

Claims (1)

EMI2.2 PATENT CLAIM: Gas-filled electric incandescent lamp with a spiral-shaped filament, thus germinated. that the ends of the filament connected to the power supply are arranged in a stretched shape so that they assume a significantly lower temperature than the luminous spiral as a result of the thermal convection of the gas filling.
