Die Erfindung betrifft einen Sockel oder eine Fassung für Glühlampen, weiche insbesondere für hohe Stromstärken bestimmt ist. wie sie z. B. bei Schcinwerferlampen auftreten. Bei solchen Lampen ist es nötig, sie um ihre Achse zwecks richtiger Einstellung des Leuchtsyatems verdrehen zu können, ohne dass hiebei die Kontaktgebung verschlechtert wird. Es ist aber auch nötig,

Bei weiterem Einschrauben wird die Feder 4 zusammengepresst und erzeugt einen entsprechend starken Anpressungsdruck im Gewinde. Dieser wird erhalten bleiben, auch wenn die Lampe nach Zusammen- pressen der Feder weiter verdreht wird.
Die Riffelung ist nicht unbedingt notwendig, gewährleistet aber in besonderem Masse, dass sich die Lampe nicht etwa infolge von Erschütterungen usw. von selbst wieder verdreht.
