   Die geknetete, gut gemischte Masse wird vollständig etwa bei 80 bis   1000 C ge   trocknet ; kleine Klumpen, welche sich beim Trocknen bilden, lassen sich leicht zerdrücken und zerfallen von selbst bei steigender Temperatur. 



   Es wird ein schwarzbraunes Mehl erhalten, welches den Asphalt in feinster, gleichmässiger Verteilung enthält und sich von dem natürlichen Stampfasphalt im Aussehen und sonstigen Verhalten in keiner Weise unterscheidet. 



   Die weitere Verarbeitung geschieht genau wie beim   natürlichen   Mehle. Das angewärmte Pulver lässt sich durch Stampfen und Walzen zu einer vollkommen   homogen'n   Strassendecke zusammenpressen. 



   Beispiel : Man nimmt etwa 900 kg feingemahlenen Kalkstein, feuchtet ihn gleichmässig an und setzt 200 kg Asphaltemulsion hinzu. Die Masse kommt, nachdem sie in einer   Misch-und Knetmaschine   gut durchgearbeitet ist, in Trockenpfannen und wird unter stetem Umrühren bei etwa 800 völlig getrocknet.
