Process for the production of building blocks.

The invention relates to a method for the production of building blocks from clay, sand and cement. What is new is that the clay and sand are intimately mixed by grinding and rubbing into a semolina-like mass. This grinding and grinding into a semolina-like mass has the advantage that the clay to be used for the production of building blocks can be brought into the same semolina-like state as the sand and, as a result, the cement added to the clay-sand mixture can set very closely with the semolina-like clay and sand particles , so that a high compressive strength of the building blocks is guaranteed.

The gritty loam sand mass produced according to the present invention is mixed with cement in a known manner, so that the cement sets the mass, the cement serving as a hardening agent to increase the compressive strength. The clay, as it occurs in nature, can be used as dry or damp clay, only the moisture content of the mixture must be regulated during processing so that the cement acts as a binding and hardening agent. The drier the loam, the easier and better a semolina-like mass can be achieved; Here, before or after the addition of cement, a little water may have to be added in order to achieve an earth-moist mass that causes the bond with sand and cement.

The mixing ratio can be kept different depending on the type of base materials. Any kind of stones can be made from the mixture.

The process can be carried out, for example, with the following mixing ratio:
Six parts of clay are ground with six parts of sand in a mixer with pan grinders and grinded to achieve a semolina-like mixed mass. A part of cement is then added to this intimately mixed, semolina-like mass and the water content is regulated in such a way that an earth-moist mass is present and setting can take place. Tests have shown that according to the present process and mixing ratios, water-insoluble building blocks with a pressure
