   Nach der Erfindung werden die beiden zum Bearbeiten von Schienen und   dg1.   dienenden, mit seitlich ausfahrbaren   Fräswerkzeugen   versehenen Bohr- und Fräsmaschinen gemäss Patent Nr. 67860 zwar ebenfalls einander gegenüberliegend angeordnet, jedoch so, dass sie dicht aneinandergerückt sind und nicht ihre Vorderseiten   (Arbeitsseiten),   sondern ihre   Ihnterseiten   einander   zuliehren.   Die Zeichnung stellt die Anordnung dar. Die   Be-   arbeitung der Schienen erfolgt hiebei in der Weise, dass die Schiene   d   beispielsweise zuerst an einem Ende auf der Maschine a bearbeitet wird.

   Hierauf werden die Fräswerkzeuge c und cl beider Maschinen zur Seite ausgefahren und die   Schiene J wird durch   Verschiebung in ihrer Längsrichtung in die Lage d'gebracht.
