   Die Erfindung stellt einen weiteren Ausbau des durch das Patent Nr. 60426 geschützten Gedankens der Verbindung eines stehenden Wasserrohrbündels mit einem Rauchrohrbündel dar. Sie besteht darin, dass das   Rauchrohrbündel   und das   Wassenohrbt1ndel   je für sich einen besonderen Dampfsammler und eventuell auch einen besonderen Schlammsammler erhalten, wobei beide Dampfsammler und eventuell auch beide Schlammsammler vermittelst Rohren, in die auch Schieber eingeschaltet werden können, miteinander derart in Verbindung gebracht werden, dass entweder beide Kessel zur Erzeugung von Dampf oder aber nur ein Kessel zur Dampferzeugung und der andere zum Vorwärmen des Speisewassers für den anderen Kessel benutzt werden können. 



   Es ist bekannt, dass Dampfkessel um so wirksamer und gleichmässiger arbeiten, auch deren Dauerhaftigkeit eine umso grössere ist, je höher das Kesselspeisewasser vorgewärmt ist. Wird der Rauchrohrkessel 1 reichlich gross gewählt oder reicht das Brennmaterial nicht aus, um beide Kessel als   Dampferzeuger   voll beheizen zu können, so kann die Wirkungsweise der gesamten Dampfkesselanlage eine vorteilhaftere sein, wenn das Rauchrohrbündel   1   nur zur Vorwärmung des Kesselspeisewassers und nicht zur Dampferzeugung benutzt wird. 



   Diese neue Konstruktion, welche gestattet, je nach Bedürfnis und Vorteil, nur einen Kessel oder auch beide Kessel zur Dampferzeugung oder hiezu nur den einen Kessel und den anderen   als Speisewasservorwärmer zn   benutzen, ist für die   Verbrennung von Müll,   welches in ein und derselben Stadt je nach Jahreszeit und Quartier in Menge und Heizwert bekanntlich   ausserordenthch sehwankt, von   besonderer Wichtigkeit, insbesondere auch dann, wenn   der Mllofen   noch mit einer   Hilfs- oder Zllsatzfeuerung   zur vorübergehenden Erzeugung grösserer Dampfmengen versehen ist.
