   Die Konstruktion des Kessels nach vorliegender Erfindung ergibt sich, wenn man bei Kesseln, die aus unteren Zylinderkesseln und einem oberen Röhrenkessel bestehen und nur einen Wasserraum haben, an Stelle der mittleren Teile der Zylinderkessel Wasserrohrgruppen anordnet. 



   Diese Konstruktion hat den Vorteil, dass in gleichem Raume wie bei dem Zylinder-   Höhrenkessel   eine grössere und wirksamere Heizfläche untergebracht werden kann und dass man die bestehenden Zylinder-Röhrenkessel genannter Art ohne bedeutender Änderung des bestehenden Mauerwerkes   in'Wasserrohrkessel   mit grösserer Heizfläche umwandeln kann. 



   Fig. 1 zeigt einen Kessel mit einem und Fig. 2 mit zwei Wasserrohrsystemen. a ist der Röhrenkessel und b b die Unterkessel, die durch Stützen c c und   d   d mit dem Oberkessel verbunden sind ; f ist ein Dampfdom und   9   ein Dampfsammler, i ist ein abnehmbarer   Boden, h, h1, h@   sind   Mannlöcher, k k Rauchkanäle   und e e Verbindungsrohre zum Abführen der Dampfblasen.
