discharge.
A downwardly extending pipe N branches off from the underside of the upper boiler, which opens into a pipe NI connecting the boxes and the superheater and can thereby be used to water the steam flowing through the superheater.
The valve 0 provided at the upper end of the pipe N and the cock 01 inserted in front of its opening point serve to regulate the water inlet into the superheater. The latter is drained by a tap 02 connected to the pipe NI.
The superheater tubes M can be arranged completely above the boiler tubes B according to FIG. 4, but they can also, as is preferably done and shown in FIG. 2, enclose the top rows of tubes B, for which purpose one or more rows of tubes B can be omitted.
PATENT CLAIMS:
1. Steam generator with an upper boiler and two lower boilers connected to the same by pipes, characterized in that the provided on the underside of the rear end of the upper boiler A chamber G is connected by sloping pipes H with a chamber I, which by means of the nozzle J to the Lower boiler C connected to the upper boiler by boiler pipes B, with chambers G and I and pipes H being outside the range of the fire gases, so that relatively colder water flows from the boiler to the boiler pipes for the purpose of energetic water circulation and the steam generated flows into the boiler the part of the upper boiler that is coated with the flue gases.
