  Verfahren zur Herstellung von Boroformiaten der Alkalien. 



   Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung von Borsäure und Ameisensäure gleichzeitig enthaltenden Salzen der Alkalien. 



   Das Verfahren besteht darin, dass man Borsäure und Ameisensäure, sei es in freiem Zustande oder in Form ihrer Alkalisalze in Gegenwart von Alkalien oder Alkalicarbonaten aufeinander einwirken lässt. 



   Bekannt ist bereits das   Aluminiumboroformiat.   Dasselbe wird durch Eintragen von frisch gefälltem und ausgewaschenem   Aluminiumhydroxyd   in ein Gemisch von Ameisensäure und Borsäure, Filtrieren, Kristallisierenlassen unter Abdampfen erhalten. 



   Die Darstellung der bisher unbekannten- Alkalisalze der   Borameisensäure   gestaltet sich wesentlich einfacher. Aus der durch Mischen von z.   B.   Natriumcarbonat und Borameisensäure oder von Natriumformiat und Borsäure erhaltenen Lösung scheidet sich das neue Salz bis zu   800/0   aus, so dass ein Abfiltrieren und Abdampfen fortfall. 



   Beispiel : 431 g kristallisierte Soda und 575 g Borax werden in der Wärme in
1250   CM   Wasser gelöst und in die Lösung 347 g   80"/oligo   Ameisensäure eingetragen. Nach

   Dieses Salz ist keine Mischung, sondern eine komplexe Verbindung mit dem konstanten Schmelzpunkt von 110 bis 1110. 



   Das Kaliumsalz der Borameisensänro wird in entsprechender Weise erhalten. 



     Die Alkalisalzc   der   Horameisensäure   sollen medizinische Verwendung finden.

   The invention relates to a process for the preparation of salts of alkalis containing boric acid and formic acid at the same time.



   The process consists in allowing boric acid and formic acid to act on one another, be it in the free state or in the form of their alkali salts in the presence of alkalis or alkali metal carbonates.



   The aluminum boroformate is already known. The same is obtained by adding freshly precipitated and washed aluminum hydroxide to a mixture of formic acid and boric acid, filtering, and allowing to crystallize with evaporation.



   The representation of the previously unknown alkali salts of boroformic acid is much easier. From the by mixing z. B. sodium carbonate and boric acid or solution obtained from sodium formate and boric acid, the new salt separates up to 800/0, so that there is no filtering off and evaporation.
