Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Ahle, welche zur Herstellung von Steppstichnähten, z. n. auf Leder usw., dient und welche ein zum Aufnehmen einer Fadenspule ausgebildetes Heft aufweist und besteht darin, dass als Spulenachse eine den Nadelbehälter bildende Hülse dient.
Auf der Zeichnung ist ein Ausführungsbeispiel des Erfindungsgegenstandes dargestellt, und zwar zeigt :
Fig. 1 eine Ansicht,
Fig. 2 einen Längsschnitt.
Die Ahle weist eine Nadel a und ein Heft b auf, wobei die in einer Bohrung des Hoftkopfes eingesteckte Nadel a durch die Feststellschraube c festgehalten ist. Die Nadel ist eine starke Steppstichnadel mit Fadenrinne d und Öse e, wobei die Fadenrinne von der gegen die Spitze zu befindlichen Öse bis fast zum entgegengesetzten Ende der Nadel verläuft. Im Heftkopf ist das Fadeneinführungsloch f vorgesehen, welches, von der Aussenseite des Heftkopfes beginnend, bei richtiger Einmontierung der Nadel in der Bohrung, gegen die Nadelrinne ausmündet, so dass ein durch das Fadeneinführungsloch feingeführter Faden g in der Nadelrinne d nach der Öse e geführt werden kann.
Im Heftkörper b ist nur eine axial angeordnete Aushöhlung s vorgesehen, wobei in der Achse des Heftes ein Rohrstück t vorgesehen ist, welches einerseits zum Aufstecken der
Garnspule m in der Aushöhlung s und andererseits zur Aufnahme von Resorvenadeln a in seinem Innern dient.
Das Heft bzw. der Griff b kann zur Ahle gerade, schräg oder quer verlaufend an- geordnet sein.

The invention relates to an awl which is used for the production of lockstitch seams, e.g. n. on leather, etc., and which has a handle designed to hold a spool of thread and consists in that a sleeve forming the needle container serves as the spool axis.

The awl has a needle a and a handle b, the needle a inserted into a hole in the court head being held in place by the locking screw c. The needle is a strong lockstitch needle with a thread groove d and an eyelet e, whereby the thread groove runs from the eyelet towards the point to almost the opposite end of the needle. In the stitching head the thread insertion hole f is provided, which, starting from the outside of the stitching head, opens out against the needle groove when the needle is correctly installed in the hole, so that a thread g finely guided through the thread insertion hole can be guided in the needle groove d to the eye e can.
In the handle body b only an axially arranged cavity s is provided, with a pipe section t is provided in the axis of the handle, which on the one hand for plugging the
