    Verfahren zur Darstellung blauer Tetrakisazofarbstoffe.   



   Dem bekannten Verfahren zur Herstellung   waschechter   Färbungen durch Kupplung eines geeigneten Farbstoffes auf der Faser mit einer Diazoverbindung oder nach erfolgter Diazotierung mit einer   Azokomponento   wird die Nachbehandlung hiefür geeigneter Färbungen mit Formaldehyd der Einfachheit wegen vorgezogen. Wenngleich eine grössere Zahl von Farbstoffen bekannt geworden ist, deren Färbungen durch eine Nachbehandlung mit   Formaldehyd genügend waschecht   werden, so besitzen die derart   behandelten Färbungen   in sehr vielen Fällen   eine ungenügende Lichtechtheit,   da die Lichtechtheit der direkten Färbungen im allgemeinen durch die Nachbehandlung mit Formaldehyd herabgesetzt wird. 



  Besonders war es bisher nicht gelungen, nach diesem Verfahren gleichzeitig in hohem Grade wasch- und lichtechte blaue Färbungen herzustellen. 



   Den Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bildet ein Verfahren zur Darstellung von Farbstoffen, die, auf Baumwolle gefärbt und mit Formaldehyd nach behandelt, nicht nur   waschechte,   sondern auch hervorragend lichtechte, blaue Färbungen liefern. Die Farbstoffe entsprechen dem Schema:

   For the sake of simplicity, the after-treatment for suitable dyeings with formaldehyde is preferred to the known process for producing washfast dyeings by coupling a suitable dye to the fiber with a diazo compound or after diazotization with an azo component. Although a large number of dyestuffs have become known, the colorations of which are sufficiently washfast after treatment with formaldehyde, the colorations treated in this way have in very many cases insufficient lightfastness, since the lightfastness of the direct colorations is generally reduced by the after-treatment with formaldehyde .



  In particular, it has not been possible to use this process to produce blue dyeings that are both washable and lightfast at the same time.



   The subject matter of the present invention is a process for the preparation of dyes which, when dyed on cotton and treated with formaldehyde, give not only washfast but also excellent lightfast blue colorations. The dyes correspond to the scheme:
