<Desc/Clms Page number 2>
Fig. 1 eine perspektivische Explosionsdarstellung einer erfindungsgemässen Beleuchtungsvor- richtung ;
Schrank angeordnet ist, in Fig. 2b die erfindungsgemässe Beleuchtungsvorrichtung in einer Lade angeordnet ist und in Fig. 2c die erfindungsgemässe Beleuchtungsvorrichtung in einer Tasche bzw. einem Beutel angeordnet ist;
<Desc/Clms Page number 3>
<Desc/Clms Page number 4>

The present invention relates to a lighting device for an openable and closable container, such as a box, drawer, bag, pouch and the like, comprising a lighting element which can be fixed in the interior of the container and which is provided or coupled to a power supply device, and a switch element which interacts with an actuating element which is arranged on an openable and closable part of the container to be illuminated, in particular in the region of the opening.
In connection with openable and closable containers, it is often desirable to provide lighting in the interior of such a container, such lighting being conveniently and essentially automatically switched on when the container is opened. In particular, lighting should not be provided when the container is closed, in particular for reasons of energy saving. In addition, the vast majority of lighting fixtures heat up during operation, so that uncontrolled and long-term lighting may result in a risk from ignition of the interior of the container or objects contained therein, with the resulting fire hazard.
In connection with the lighting of openable and closable containers, it is known, for example, to provide contact switches which, when the container is opened, switch on a lighting device inside the container, the switch element being in contact with the actuating element and / or a complicated trigger mechanism is provided. A disadvantage of this known embodiment is the fact that at least the switch element and the actuating element, which is arranged on an openable and closable part of the container to be illuminated, must be matched exactly to one another in the relative positioning, at least in the closed position, to ensure reliable switching or, in particular, switching off of the lighting element inside the container when the container is closed.
In addition, such contacting switch elements are prone to malfunction and maintenance.
The present invention aims to further develop a lighting device for an openable and closable container of the type mentioned at the outset in such a way that the above-mentioned disadvantages, in particular with regard to the complicated and maintenance-prone arrangement or design of the individual elements, are avoided and reliably one Lighting of an interior of a container is provided.
To achieve this object, a lighting device of the type mentioned at the outset is essentially characterized in that the switch element, which is coupled to the lighting element, interacts without contact with the actuating element and switches the switch element on and off. The fact that, according to the invention, there is a contactless interaction between the switch element and the actuating element arranged on the openable and closable part of the container to be illuminated, it is ensured that an elaborate and complicated triggering or contact mechanism can be dispensed with. For this reason, it is also possible to trigger or trigger reliably in the event of larger manufacturing tolerances.
Ensure that the lighting device is switched off, since physical contact between the switch element and the actuating element is not required for switching the lighting element on and in particular off.
In order to achieve an embodiment which is simple to set up and can be produced cost-effectively, it is proposed that the switch element be formed by a reed contact and that the actuating element be formed by a magnet, in particular a permanent magnet, as corresponds to a preferred embodiment of the lighting device according to the invention.
Such a reed contact for the formation of the switch element can be made available simply and inexpensively, with the interaction of the reed contact with an actuating element formed by a magnet, in particular a permanent magnet, triggering and in particular switching off the light-emitting element when approached accordingly can be achieved between the switch element and the actuating element. Depending on the sensitivity of the reed contact and the field strength of the magnet, in particular the permanent magnet, the lighting device according to the invention can also be reliably switched off and on at larger, mutual intervals.
To achieve a desired lighting effect, another is preferred
<Desc / Clms Page number 2>
Embodiment provided that the light-emitting element is fixed to a near area adjoining the opening in the interior of the container.
For a largely self-sufficient operation of the lighting device, which can also be used, for example, in mobile containers, for example a bag or a bag, according to a further preferred embodiment it is provided that the power supply of the lighting device is provided in a manner known per se from a DC voltage source, in particular a battery. Such batteries can also be made available in a correspondingly small size with sufficient power, so that the space requirement of the lighting device according to the invention is correspondingly small.
According to a further preferred embodiment, it is proposed that the lighting element be formed by an LED, which means that a very cost-saving lighting element can be used. The use of an LED also has the advantage that there is no need to fear heating of the interior of the container even in the case of defective switch elements and thus failure to switch off the light source, so that there is a risk to the interior of the container or the objects accommodated therein - For example, or in particular a fire risk, there is no fear.
For a particularly reliable and easily checkable positioning of the individual parts of the lighting device according to the invention, it is proposed according to a further preferred embodiment that the light-emitting element and the actuating element in the region of a door of a container and / or edge or peripheral portions of a bag or an opening a pocket are arranged.
In order to achieve as few components as possible that are separate from one another, it is also provided that the lighting element and switch element and the power supply device are accommodated in a common housing, which can be removably fixed inside the container to be illuminated, for example by gluing, screwing or the like this corresponds to a further preferred embodiment of the lighting device according to the invention.
The lighting element and switch element as well as the power supply device can be easily and elegantly integrated in a common housing, taking into account the extremely small parts, which also provide a correspondingly high luminous efficacy, especially when using an LED, also a correspondingly inexpensive to produce and elegant and aesthetically valuable lighting device can be provided.
For a particularly simple and reliable fixing, according to a further preferred embodiment it is provided that the actuating element, in particular the permanent magnet, can be detachably or removably fixed to an openable and closable part of the container to be illuminated, in particular by gluing, screwing or the like is.
The lighting device according to the invention can also be arranged at different points in a container and / or, if appropriate, in different containers by means of a detachable fixing of both the housing in which the lighting element, the power supply element and the switch element are accommodated, and the actuating element bring to use.
The invention is explained in more detail below on the basis of exemplary embodiments shown schematically in the accompanying drawing. In this show:
1 shows an exploded perspective view of a lighting device according to the invention;
2 different possibilities of arranging an inventive lighting device, the lighting device according to the invention being shown in FIG. 2a in a box or
Cabinet is arranged, in Fig. 2b the lighting device according to the invention is arranged in a drawer and in Fig. 2c the lighting device according to the invention is arranged in a pocket or bag;
3 shows a schematic circuit diagram of an inventive lighting device; and
4 shows a modified embodiment of a circuit diagram of a lighting device according to the invention.
In Fig. 1, generally 1 denotes a housing of a lighting device, wherein in
<Desc / Clms Page number 3>
the housing 1 a light element, for example an LED 2, is added. Furthermore, it can be seen that a plurality of batteries, for example button cells 4, for supplying power to the lighting element 2 is arranged in a receptacle 3. The cover of the receptacle 3 for the batteries or power supply is designated 5.
In addition, a switch element 6 is indicated, as will be discussed in detail with reference to FIGS. 3 and 4, this switch element 6 being formed, for example, by a reed contact. In addition, further circuit elements are accommodated in the bottom part 7 of the housing 1, as will also be discussed in detail with reference to FIGS. 3 and 4.
An actuating element 8, which is formed, for example, by a magnet, in particular a permanent magnet, is used to switch the lighting element 2 on and off when the switch element 6 is formed by a reed contact.
To fix both the actuating element 8 on an openable and closable part of a container to be illuminated and the housing 1, for example an adhesive strip 9 is indicated for the actuating element 8, the housing 1 also on the rear of the housing section 7 in a manner not shown can be fixed on an inner surface of a container, as will be discussed in detail in particular with reference to FIG. 2.
In addition, a reflector 11 is provided, for example, on the upper circumferential section in order to improve the light yield or to achieve a directed light beam on a cover for the lighting element, which is schematically designated 10.
2 shows different attachment options for a lighting device. 2a, the lighting device is used in a cupboard or box, it being clear from the schematic illustration that the housing 1 is arranged, for example, in the vicinity of an opening in the cupboard or box 11, while the actuating element, in particular the permanent magnet , which in turn is designated 8, is fixed to an opening or edge area of a door 12. The lighting effect that can be achieved when the container is open is indicated by 13 in FIG. 2a.
By providing the non-contact interaction between the actuating element 8 and the switch element 6 accommodated in the housing 1, in particular reed contact, it is sufficient, depending on the sensitivity or tripping characteristic of the switch element and the strength of the actuating element 8, in particular formed by a permanent magnet, of this actuating element 8 in a near area of the housing 1 of the lighting device and in particular the switch element 6 accommodated in the housing 1 in order to achieve a reliable switching on and off of the lighting element 2.
2b shows a modified embodiment, the housing 1 being arranged in a drawer 14, the drawer 14 being able to be pulled out in accordance with the arrow 15. The actuating element is to be arranged in the area of the opening movement on the body of the container 16 receiving the drawer 14, wherein in particular a closed position of the drawer 14 must be taken into account for the lighting element 2 to be reliably switched off.
2c shows a pocket or a bag 17, the housing 1 with the lighting element 2 being arranged on the side in the circumferential or edge region 18 of the pocket or the bag 17, this again being shown schematically with 6 indicated switch element 11 cooperates with the actuating element 8 arranged on the other peripheral section or region 18, which in turn is formed by a permanent magnet. It is clear that the luminous element 2 is switched off immediately when the edge or peripheral section 18 is closed due to the relative close relationship between the housing 1 and in particular the switch element 6 and also the actuating element 8 when the bag or bag is closed.
FIG. 3 shows a general circuit diagram for the lighting device shown in particular in FIG. 1, wherein a lighting element again formed by a particularly white LED is designated by 2. The power supply device is in turn formed by a DC voltage source, in particular at least one battery 4. In addition, the switch element or the reed contact 6 is indicated in FIG. 3. The actuating element 8 is shown directly as a permanent magnet. When the actuating element 8 or the permanent magnet approaches the reed contact 6, the latter is switched over, so that the
<Desc / Clms Page number 4>
Luminous element 2 is switched off, thereby ensuring that the luminescent element 2 goes out when the container is closed.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 4, a resistor 19 is also used if the voltage provided by the power supply or DC voltage source 4 should be too high for the lighting element, in particular the LED 2.
As in the embodiment according to FIG. 1, a plurality of batteries, for example button cells, can be used as the power supply source. If three button cells with a nominal voltage of 1.5 V each are used, it can be assumed that the resistor shown in FIG. 4 must be used in order to operate an LED 2 properly.
Instead of the LED 2 shown as a lighting element or lighting element, other lighting elements, for example incandescent lamps, can also be used.
If a power supply or a mains connection is present in the container to be illuminated, the mains connection can be used directly instead of the power supply formed by a DC voltage source 4 in the embodiment shown, so that other lighting elements 2 may be used instead of the LED shown can reach.
